Day 1 Tuesday, May, 31, 2022 Departure Tampa

Day 2 Wednesday, June 1, 2022 Prague airport ( L,D)

Welcome to the Czech Republic! Arrive at Prague International Airport. Meet your LOCAL TOUR MANAGER who will remain with you throughout the tour. Load your luggage on your PRIVATE COACH and transfer to the city center of Prague, city of 100 towers. En route you will make a stop and visit your first brewery, (daily open from 11.30AM— 11.PM) the BŘEVNOV MONASTERY BREWERY. LUNCH INCLUDED (including one beer)

Late afternoon you will transfer to your HOTEL and check-in and freshen-up.

EVE – This evening enjoy a WELCOME DINNER CRUISE. Overnight in the city center of Prague.

Day 3 Thursday, June 2, 2022 Prague (B)
BREAKFAST at your hotel. Meet your LOCAL GUIDE and enjoy a WALKING TOUR OF PRAGUE     CASTLE DISTRICT (including Malá Strana & Charles Bridge).

Prague Castle District is situated on a hillside, overlooking the city. It consists of several palaces, churches and halls, covering 7 hectares, and is with that the largest ancient castle complex worldwide. From the 9th century until 1918 it was the seat of power for first rulers and later Kings of Bohemia, who each resided here and enlarged it to grow into the vast complex it is today. Now it is the office of the President of the Czech Republic and used for important national and international ceremonies and meetings. Your tour will start with a visit of the castle grounds where you will see St. Vitus Cathedral the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, Lobkowicz Palace and the New Royal Palace. Continue the tour via the fairy tale like Malá Strana (Lesser Town) district to end at the over 600 years old Charles Bridge (Karlův most), the most iconic bridge of Prague completed in 1402, linking the two oldest   historical sides of Prague, the Prague Castle & Malá Strana district, with the Old Town.

PM – Lunch on your own. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city and taste several beers.  On nearly every corner of the street you can taste a good Czech beer and drink craft beer in pubs or microbreweries.

EVE – Dinner on your own this evening.  Overnight in the city center of Prague.

Day 4 Friday, June 3, 2022 Prague – Bamberg (B,L,D)
AM – Following BREAKFAST you will check-out.  This morning you will board your private luxury coach and drive to Germany. The first stop will be in Plzen, a city known worldwide for the Pilsner beer, where you will enjoy a visit and GUIDED TOUR of the PILSNER URQUELL BREWERY (one complimentary beer).

PM – Following LUNCH together you will transfer to the Bamberg, known for its “smoked beer /rauchbeer”, a picturesque town that has been a Unesco World Heritage site since 1993.  Upon arrival you will check-in at your HOTEL and freshen up. Then, meet your Tour Manager in the lobby of your hotel, who will take you for a visit to the oldest brewery of Bamberg, THE KLOSTERBRAU

EVE – Tonight you will enjoy a group dinner at the MAHRSBRAU RESTAURANT or similar.       
Remainder of evening own, for example a walk through the old town.
Overnight in Bamberg (city center)

Day 5 Saturday, June 4, 2022 Bamberg (B,L)
AM – After BREAKFAST at your hotel you will enjoy a guided tour of Bamberg with visits to brewery SCHLENKERLA
 
PM – Following LUNCH at BRAUEREIGASTHOF FÄSSLA (including one beer), you will visit THE WEYERMAN MALTERY where you can taste specialty malts and special beers (including one beer). Then, you will have the remainder of the day at leisure to visit Bamberg and one of its many breweries and beerhouses. (Your Tour Manager will provide suggestions)
 
PM – Have dinner on own and overnight at your hotel in Bamberg (city center)

Day 6 Sunday, June 5, 2022 Bamberg – Munich (B,L)
AM – BREAKFAST at your hotel and check-out. You will board your private coach and transfer to Weissenohe. From here you will depart for an approx. 6 miles walk and enjoy a wonderful “beer hike” of the THE FÜNF SEIDLA STEIGor “Five Half-Liters of Beer Trail” (you will visit the BRAUEREI FRIEDMANN, the LINDENBRÄU BRAUEREI and the HOFFMANN BREWERY. You will end your hike in Thuisbrunn (BREWERY ELCHBRAU), where you will enjoy a Weisswurst Fruhstuck (A sausage, Pretzel and Beer) Drinks on your own arrangements. 
 
PM – Early afternoon you will transfer to Freising where you will enjoy a GUIDED VISIT of the            WEIHENSTEPHANER BIERGARTEN(including one beer), world oldest brewery. Board coach and transfer to Munich, Bavarian capital known for its world-famous beer culture and its numerous beer halls.  During the Oktoberfest celebrations, seven million liters of locally-brewed beer is served to visitors from around the word. 
 
EVE – Check-at your HOTEL and enjoy dinner on own. Overnight in the city center of Munich.

Day 7 Monday, June 6, 2022 Monday, June 6, 2022Munich (B,D)
AM – Have BREAKFAST at your hotel and board your private coach for a CITY TOUR OF MUNICH with local guide, by bus, including photo stops. Highlights of the tour include the BMW Headquarters, Olympic Stadium, Nymhpenburg Palace, Kunstareal (District of the Arts), Königsplatzt (King’s Square) and the Old Town with the Bavarian State Opera and Ballet building, Siegestor (Victory Gate), English Garden, Odeonsplatz square, Field Marshall’s Hall and the Frauenkirche (Cathedral Church of Our Lady).  End your tour with a visit of the Viktualienmarkt (food market) and Munich’s central square Marienplatz to see the world famous Glockenspiel in the tower of the Town Hall in action. 
 
PM – Lunch on your own.
Board coach and transfer to THE HOFBRÄU BREWERY (Hofbräuallee – Monday- Thursday 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM) for a GUIDED VISIT.
This afternoon you will board coach and transfer to Aying for a GUIDED VISIT AND TASTING at the famous AYINGER BREWERY (one complimentary beer). The guided tour will take 2 hours. Return to Munich
 
EVE – DINNER together in Munich for instance at the Biergarten am Muffatwerk, the Schiller Bräu or the Hofbrauhaus. Overnight at your hotel in Munich (city center).

Day 8 Tuesday, June 7, 2022 Munich (B,L)
AM – BREAKFAST as a group at your hotel.
 
Today you will board your private luxury coach and transfer to the Bavarian Alps to visit the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. Upon arrival in the mountain village, Hohenschwangau, you will enjoy a scenic hike (30-40 minutes) up to the castle. Enjoy a TOUR OF NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE WITH LOCAL GUIDE.Appearing through the mountaintops like a mirage, Schloss Neuschwanstein was the model for Disney’s  Sleeping Beauty castle. King Ludwig II planned this fairy-tale castle himself, with the help of a stage designers and artist rather than an architect. He envisioned it as a giant stage on which to recreate the world of Germanic mythology, inspired by the operatic works of his friend Richard Wagner.  If weather permits walk to the Queen Mary’s bridge (Marienbrücke), about 20 minutes walk from the castle. On the bridge you will have the perfect and most beautiful view of the castle and the gorge below with the waterfall. *
 
PM – This afternoon, enjoy a LUNCH at SCHLOSSBRAUHAUS SCHWANGAU, a brewery near the Neuschwanstein Castle. Following lunch you will board coach and transfer toKLOSTERBRAUEREI ETTAL (one complimentary beer). This brewery was founded in 1609 and can look back on over more than 400 years of brewery history. Here you will enjoy a GUIDED VISITLate afternoon transfer to Munich.
 
EVE – Tonight you will have time to explore Munich, have dinner on own or enjoy Friday drinks together. Overnight at your hotel in Munich (city center).

Day 9 Wednesday, June 8, 2022 Munich (B,D)
AM – BREAKFAST at your hotel. This morning you will enjoy a guided visit to the PAULANER BREWERY, established in 1634. After the tour you will enjoy a beer tasting with a pretzel.  (including 2 x 0.33 l glasses of beer & one pretzel)   
    
PM – You will have time for lunch on your own, for example a sausage, another pretzel and a nice cold beer. This afternoon you will board your private luxury coach and transfer to the German countryside to visit the Famous Kloster Andechs, one of southern Bavaria’s most famous pilgrimage sites . This ANDECHS KLOSTER BREWERY is run by monks, and one of the few left. Upon arrival the coach will stop at the foot of the hill and you will walk up to the monastery. Enjoy a GUIDED VISIT. Late afternoon return back to Munich.
 
Tonight you will enjoy a FAREWELL DINNER at the famous Augustinerkeller or Hofbräuhaus.

PM – Overnight at your hotel in Munich (city center).

Day 10 Thursday, June 9, 2022 Departure (B)
DAY BREAKFAST as a group at the hotel.
Check out of the hotel, load your private coach and transfer to Munich airport.
Check in for flights, move through security onto your departure gate.
FLIGHT Home.

Tour coordinator Michael Vetter is the co-owner of VetterBrew HomeBrew Supply in Clearwater, Florida. For over 30 years Michael led choral groups to Europe for touring and singing. A choral music teacher in Pinellas County for over 31 years, he is now leading trips to visit his second love, BEER! This will be the second trip to visit breweries in Europe. In 2019, he led a tour to Belgium to sample some amazing Belgian beers. With the help of longtime Belgian beer connoisseur Bob Sylvester, they visited many small family owned breweries in Belgium and France.
